This is the official page for NEMTA's Voice Competition 2021. It is an international music event open to participants of all ages, levels and nationalities. We welcome you and invite you to familiarize yourself with the rules of the Competition. We look forward to hearing you perform!
NEMTA Voice is a division of NEMTA Festival that focuses on needs, goals and accomplishments of singers. With local, national and international outreach programs, NEMTA Piano strives to raise the bar for voice students to promote excellence, professionalism and musicianship. Our goal is to offer performance opportunities, educational programs and evaluation services globally. Consistent with NEMTA's overall slogan "Music Without Borders", NEMTA Voice brings musicians from all over the world in an Annual Voice Competition every spring.
In the past, singers participated in the NEMTA Annual Festival together with other instrumentalists, with auditions being held at local music schools/universities and the Winners Recital held at the Dolan Performance Hall in Morristown, NJ. Last year during the COVID Pandemic, NEMTA Festival was forced to transition to an online platform and has since expanded its geographical borders to students outside of the immediate Tri-State area. Currently, NEMTA Voice is no longer limited to local entries entries and is a truly a global event!
NEMTA & its organizers are proud to present Voice Competition 2021 and invite our current and new students to participate in our annual spring event. Students of all ages and levels are welcome to apply. NEMTA offers 100% online audition opportunities in 2021. Please save the following important dates to remember:
